Tufts University is committed to creating and maintaining environments free of discrimination and harassment for all. If you or someone you know has experienced an incident you would like to report, please visit one of the following pages for information on our reporting processes:
The Sexual Misconduct Reporting Liaisons (Title IX) are university employees who are available to receive reports of harassment, bias and discrimination at Tufts, including sexual harassment and sexual assault. The liaisons can provide information regarding available resources and explain the OEO process, but are not responsible for investigating reports. Rather, they will direct the information they receive to the university’s Title IX Coordinator in the Office of Equal Opportunity. Note: Liaisons are mandatory reporters (as are most staff and faculty), which means they are required to report disclosures of sexual misconduct to the Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO).
Ethicspoint, a third-party secure web tool, allows any member of the Tufts community to file a report or complaint. Ethicspoint has an option to report anonymously if preferred and there is another feature which allows a reporter to anonymously "chat" with an investigator if there is more information to be shared. For anyone submitting an Ethicspoint complaint, please keep the key code the system assigns to you after you submit a report so that you can check back on the progress of the report.
