Tufts University is committed to providing a safe and positive workplace for all students, staff and faculty. In order to help achieve this goal and to comply with university, state and federal policies and regulations, Tufts’ Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO) provides mandatory training regarding discrimination and harassment prevention. All staff and faculty (full-time, part-time & temporary) and student employees who have not already attended are required to participate.
The Discrimination and Harassment Prevention Training workshop is offered each semester on each campus to ensure that new employees and existing employees who have not yet attended this training are able to fulfill this mandatory requirement.
Trainings will take place in a confidential Zoom learning environment that includes lecture, small group discussions, and other interactive activities. The 2.5 hour training covers topics related to the following Tufts policies:
Please contact OEO with any questions at oeotraining@tufts.edu
Each semester, employees will receive an email announcement about the trainings. Those employees who haven't yet participated should then register for a 2.5 hour training session using Employee Self Services (EServe):
If you do not have access to Learning and Development in EServe, or for assistance with registration, please contact the Office of Equal Opportunity at 617-627-3298 or via email at OEOTraining@tufts.edu.
Note: Any session with less than ten people registered will be canceled. Those who signed up for that session will be notified about the cancellation via email two days prior to the date of the session.
If you are unsure whether you have already completed a mandatory employee training through OEO, you can check your training record here.
If you are interested in arranging a training for your department, division or school, you may send a request to OEOtraining@tufts.edu.
