2/28/18 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM  Let’s talk: Queer, non-binary safe sex Women's Center  We will learn about safe practices for queen and non-binary sec, centering gender-queer, lesbian, trans and bisexual women. All are welcome to attend. This event is geared for members of the LGBTQIA community.   
2/28/18 7:00 PM - 8:00PM Intersectionality and Consent Cohen Auditorium Conner Habib is a writer, teacher, and adult film star, and has won awards for all three areas.  He is a sex & culture expert, and the Vice President of the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee, a nonprofit which works to improve quality of life and experiences of currently working adult performers. He is the first gay adult film star to speak at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.  He has presented at nonprofit organizations, colleges, and independent art spaces across the country, including Amherst College, Bowdoin College, California College of Art & Design, Rudolf Steiner Social Finance, and University of Southern California, just to name a few. His talk on intersectionality and consent will be followed by a discussion moderated by Professor Kareem Khubchandani.

No prior knowledge about Islam is required; although, for those familiar with the Qur'an and its narratives, this will be an occasion to think intertextually.
