If you are in immediate danger, call 9-1-1.

When you call TUPD, they can provide immediate assistance such as giving you a ride to Tufts Health Service or taking you to an area hospital for medical attention. TUPD has officers specially trained to support you after you have experienced sexual misconduct. You don’t need to file criminal charges with the TUPD in order to receive any of these support services.

 

Tufts Counseling & Mental Health Services (CMHS)

Medford/Somerville/SMFA:  617-627-3360

  • During regular business hours - tell the staff person who answers that it is an emergency and they will connect you to an available counselor
  • During weekends, holidays or after hours - follow the phone prompts to be connected to a Counselor-on-Call

CMHS has trained counselors who can provide immediate, confidential emotional support for students who have experienced sexual misconduct - including sexual assault - or discrimination and/or harassment. They can also provide referrals for additional supports & resources.

 

Talk One2One Student Assistance Program

Grafton and Boston: 1-800-756-3124

If you are a Cummings or Boston Health Sciences student and want to speak to someone right away, Talk One2One is a free counseling service that provides immediate, confidential support through a toll-free “hotline”. You can speak to a Talk One2One counselor at any time by calling 1-800-756-3124.

Tufts Health Service

  • After hours: follow the phone prompts to speak to a nurse-on-call

You can contact Tufts Health Service during regular business hours to receive immediate, initial medical care from trained providers. In cases of sexual assault, providers can also make referrals for evidence collection and can provide STD and other sexually transmitted infection testing and prevention.
